Reception dedicated to the Honorary Consul General Constantijn van Vloten

On July 19, 2019 a solemn reception dedicated to the Honorary Consul General of the Russian Federation in the Netherlands Contantijn van Vloten took place.

The Consulate-General is located in Maastricht, and the consular district covers two southern provinces of the Netherlands  - Limburg and North Brabant. Mr. Van Vloten was one of the first Dutch entrepreneurs who started their business in Russia.

Apart from the restaurant business the company of Mr. Van Vloten “The Emperor’s cuisine” has actively contributed to restoration of cultural heritage not only in Peterhof, but also in Pavlovsk, Tsarskoe Selo, Russian Museum, and Menshikov Palace.

Since 2014 the Honorary consul has been receiving citizens on a regular basis, assisting citizens with resolving legal and domestic issues in their relations with local authorities. Mr. Van Vloten helps Russian delegations visiting the cities of his consular district, students studying in Dutch universities, as well as local people that go on touristic and educational trips to Russia.
