The presentation “Eurasian Economic Union and the Netherlands: Prospects and Potential for Business Cooperation” was held on November 21, 2019 at the Russian Trade Representative Office in Amsterdam. It was attended by the Minister of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission A.M.Subbotin, Ambassador of Russia to the Netherlands A.V.Shulgin, Ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands T.K.Balayan, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Netherlands M.Zh.Ilyasov, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus to the Netherlands S.R.Vasilyevsky, as well as the chairman of the Dutch-Kyrgyz business council Zh.Koshoeva.

In his address to the audience A.V.Shulgin emphasized that «Given that Russia is a country laying both in Europe and Asia it is natural that Eurasian integration is a key priority for my motherland. It significantly contributes to the stable economic development of the member states and enhances welfare of our citizens. Thanks to the progress achieved in the last six years has created preferable WTO-based conditions for foreign companies, including those from the Netherlands».

A.V.Shulgin expressed special gratitude to the Ambassador of Armenia T.K.Balayan, who has current presidency in EAEU, for the organization of this meeting.
