Dutch nurseries: visit of Russian inspectors

From 28 September to 5 October, inspectors of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian Federation (Rosselkhoznadzor) are inspecting plant material lots (mostly young trees) prepared for export to Russia. Our experts accompanied by their colleagues from the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) will visit seventeen nurseries (two times more than last year) whose products were ordered by Russian customers.  Samples of soil and parts of trees will be sent to Russia for laboratory testing. According to the results of the analysis the Russian side will consider the possibility to import Dutch plant material (from the inspected batches).
